Our coaches never undervalue encouragement as part of their coaching philosophy – the carrot is far more effective than the stick. Praise where praise is needed is crucial. Constructive support, where support is required is vital. These values are embedded into our coaching outlook and of course, it is what can be expected from all of our coaches. On top of this, as coaches we are flexible in our coaching styles – we shape our approaches accordingly, in order to get the very best out of the players we coach – we understand that player ability varies. Thorough preparation and organisation should not be forgotten; these are critical for the deliverance of effective sessions week-in-week-out and underpin coaching success.

As a coach you are indeed an architect of improvement. At root, the outcomes of better performance and progression for the player crucially stem from the performance and techniques used by the coach. We provide professional one to one coaching and also run holiday cricket camps, which are a great way to improve whilst having fun. All our coaches have played to a high standard of cricket, and all hold coaching qualifications, First Aid Certificates and CRB certifications. We don’t only provide private coaching, we also provide coaches to clubs that require them.
